NBA Player Prop Trend: Dejounte Murray Rebounds

Murray has cleared 6+ rebounds in 82% of games this season when playing 33+ minutes. He is facing a Milwaukee Bucks team that is giving up the 2nd most rebounds to opposing point guards this season and the 4th most over the last 20 games. This includes 6+ rebounds to the following point guards in the month of January: Tyrese Maxey (6), Bruce Brown (6), De’Aaron Fox (11), Cole Anthony (7), and Scoot Henderson (7).

Murry is projected to play 35+ minutes tonight. There is even more upside for this play if Zion Williamson or Yves Missi are ruled out.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Nick Richards Points

After a dominant first game for the Suns in which he recorded 21 points in 29 minutes, Richards regressed in his second game for Phoenix with only 4 points in 22 minutes. We expect to see Richards more involved again tonight against a Brooklyn Nets team that is playing on a back-to-back. The Nets are middle of the pack in defending the center position, but gave up 14 points to Jaylin Williams, 12 points to Kyle Filipowski, and 19 points to Goga Bitadze recently. These are all relatively low usage centers that are decent comps for Richards.

Richards is expected to play bigger minutes tonight and has had 9+ points in all 9 games this season when playing just 24+ minutes. There appears to be a big trade imminent for the Suns which could mean even more upside on playing time tonight for Richards if that happens today.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Jaden McDaniels Pts + Reb + Ast

McDaniels has seen a significant increase in playing time of late, playing 29+ minutes in every game in January. His minutes have increased further in the last 3 games, playing 34+ minutes in each game since Donte DiVincenzo was injured. He has cleared 18.5 PRA in 79% of games this season when playing 34+ minutes. 

Tonight he faces a Dallas Mavericks team that is giving up the 6th most points and 9th most rebounds to opposing power forwards this season. This includes recent games to Miles Bridges (30), Jalen Williams (30), and Trey Murphy (38). McDaniels should see significant minutes tonight and deliver again.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Dyson Daniels Steals

Daniels is dominating the NBA with an amazing 3.1 steals per game. The next closest player is SGA at 2.1 steals per game. Even more impressive is the underlying metric of deflections per game, which is he also leading the league in at 6.1 per game.  The next closest player for deflections is Kelly Oubre Jr at 4.1 per game. Daniels is in a category by himself for defense this season.

Tonight he faces a Detroit Pistons team that is sloppy with the ball. They are giving up the second most steals to their opponents at 9.7 steals per game this season. When Daniels faced Detroit earlier this season he had 7 steals in the game. To make this play even better, the Hawks are home tonight. Daniels is averaging 2.4 steals on the road, but 3.9 at home! If we isolate those home game to those when he played just 26+ minutes, Daniels has cleared 3+ assists in 86% of games. This one checks a lot boxes!
