NBA Player Prop Trend: Haywood Highsmith Points

Haywood Highsmith has seen an increase in minutes since Jimmy Butler’s suspension, averaging 23 minutes in games with Butler and 29 minutes in games without, including 36 minutes in each of the last 2 games.  We have him projected for 34 minutes tonight against the Lakers.  Over Highsmith’s last 20 games in which he’s played 28 or more minutes, he has scored 8+ points in 18 of 20 games, averaging 11.4.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Amen Thompson Points+Rebounds

Amen Thompson has been playing huge minutes recently, recording 40+ minutes in 3 of his last 4 games.  Over his last 8 games, Thompson has averaged 37.3 minutes and we have him projected for 40 minutes again tonight against Denver.  When he’s played 36+ minutes this season, he’s covered 25.5 points+rebounds in 7 of 8 games, including 7 straight, and averaging 31.4 PR.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Mark Williams Points

Big Mark’s minutes are on the rise.  We have him projected for 27+ minutes. He has cleared 12+ points in 5 of 6 games this season when playing just 22+ minutes, averaging 15.6 points in those games.  He faces the Utah Jazz tonight who are giving up the 8th most points to opposing centers over the last 20 games.  They’ve given up 12+ points to 5 different centers in their last 5 games: Day’Ron Sharpe 12, Nic Claxton 14, Bam Adebayo 15, Clint Capela 18, Wendell Carter 15

NBA Player Prop Trend: Jaren Jackson Jr. Points

Continuing the minutes played trend, Jaren Jackson’s minutes are on the rise as well.  He’s averaged 29.3 minutes this season, but that average has ticked up to 33.7 over his last 5 games. He’s scored 22+ points in 8 of 9 games this season in which he’s played 33+ minutes, averaging 29.7 points.  Going back even further, Triple J has scored 22+ points in 16 of his last 20 games with 33+ minutes played, averaging 28.3.
