What’s up, everyone? Walla, here. I’m going to start putting together some player prop looks in fancy article form (for anyone who is looking for that sort of thing)! Today, we are starting with a Friday MLB slate. A few games have some favorable wind, though they could face some rain. This has been a theme across the slate lately, so we will take a look at some match ups to keep an eye on.

MLB Player Prop Trend: Austin Riley Total Bases

MLB Player Props Austin Riley
Austin Riley has cleared his 1.5 Total Bases line in 6 of his last 10, and 3 of his last 4.

Riley has notched a hit in 8 of his last 10 games overall, and as noted above, has seen some success over his total bases line. He has found some power lately, notching 3 doubles, and 3 homeruns in this span. He is taking this nice run into a series at Coors Field. Riley has 2+ total bases in 5 of his last 7 at Colorado, with 6 XBH in those games.

It looks like a solid matchup on paper against Tanner Gordon in this one.
MLB Player Props Austin Riley
There is the possibility of some precipitation in this one, though Coors Field is a boost to hitters otherwise.

Riley has been better against RHPs this season, batting .280 to this point with a .211 ISO. Tanner Gordon doesn’t have many batters faced this season, though against 48 RHBs, he has allowed a .413 BA with 4 doubles and 5 HRs. Can Riley take advantage of this favorable spot? His total bases are a little juiced, though his home run and double are at plus money.

MLB Player Prop Trend: Xavier Edwards Hits+Runs+RBI

MLB Player Props Xavier Edwards
Xavier Edwards has a 74% hit rate over 1.5 hits+runs+rbi this season.

Xavier Edwards has been one of the most consistent hitters since his first game on June 7th. He has been racking up multi hit games for the Marlins, with 9 in his last 15 outings. The Padres will have LHP Martin Perez on the mound today.

While Edwards has slightly better splits vs RHPs, he has an impressive .367 BA vs lefties. Edwards can bat from both sides of the plate, and Perez sports a .305 pBA when he faces right handed batters this season.

MLB Player Prop Trend: Vinnie Pasquantino Hits+Runs+RBI

MLB Player Props Vinnie Pasquantino
Vinnie Pasquantino’s hit rate for over 1.5 hits+runs+rbi increases from 57% on the season, to 70% over his last 30 games.

Vinnie Pasquantino is on quite the hot streak as of late. As we see noted above, he is producing a lot more lately than on the season overall. Over his last 10 games, Vinnie is averaging 3.6 hits+runs+rbi per game, clearing his 1.5 line 9 times.

On the season, Vinnie holds a higher BA and ISO vs RHPs, with 13 of his 17 HRs coming off of a righty. Mikolas has been slightly better against lefties, though they have about the same amount of XBHs as righties do off of him. With Witt also scorching hot, Vinnie could have more chances to produce for the Royals today.

MLB Player Prop Trend: Anthony Santander Hits+Runs+RBI

MLB Player Props Anthony Santander
Anthony Santander has a 54% hit rate over 1.5 hits+runs+rbi this season, averaging 2.3 per game.

Anthony Santander has been swinging a hot bat for awhile now, with a hit in 24 of his last 30 games overall. He smacked a double yesterday, but unfortunately no RBI or run came from it, and he ended with just the hit. With his hot bat, and favorable hit rate, he is worth a look to bounce back over this line.

MLB Player Props Anthony Santander

Santander has 1 single and 1 homerun off of Zack Littell, and with Cowser and Henderson typically around him in the lineup, he could be poised for production. Cowser and Gunnar have both had success vs Littell as well. The Orioles offense woke up late in yesterday’s loss to the Blue Jays, scoring 4 ninth innings runs in the 6-7 loss. Can the momentum carry over here?

The odds for these props range from -130 to -160 depending on your available sportsbook(s). If you feel like rolling the dice, all 4 can be parlayed for +708 on DraftKings, and they have a boost available today. If applied, this can be brought up to +885.
