NFL Week 3 is here and the prop market lines are getting sharper.  Luckily props.cash has released new features to help find that edge with player performance filters by snaps, YAC, airyards, along with opposing defensive ratings. Let’s use these tools to unlock some hidden value.

Here are some NFL Week 3 trends to consider.

NFL Player Prop Trend: Justin Jefferson Receiving Yards

Los Angeles Chargers Defense
LA Chargers Defensive rankings

Justin Jefferson takes on the LA Chargers this week who are giving up the MOST receiving yards in the league.  This includes 215 yards to Tyreek Hill in Week 1.  This is a prime spot for Jefferson who has cleared 102.5 receiving yards in 11 of his last 13 games when getting 10+ targets, averaging 139.5 yards during that span.  He has hauled in 150+ receiving yards in both games this season, averaging 12.5 targets in those games.  Expect a huge game from Jefferson in the only Week 3 game with a projected 50+ point total!

NFL Player Prop Trend: Justin Fields Rushing Yards

NFL Player Props Today Justin Fields
Kansas City Chiefs Defense

Justin Fields can’t do much offensively besides run the ball and this week he gets a Kansas City Chiefs team that hasn’t been great at stopping the run. After a slow start last season, Fields came on strong in the rushing department, clearing his line in 9 of 10 to end the campaign. This line has been creeping up all week, after opening around 48.5.  Fields is going to need to use his legs to create any offense for the Bears in this game.

NFL Player Prop Trend: Brian Robinson Rush Yards

NFL Player Props Today Brian Robinson
Robinson rush yards with 14+ rush attempts

Brian Robinson takes on a Buffalo Bills team that is currently ranked 18th in rush yards allowed after they gave a huge 127 yards to Breece Hall in Week 1, followed up with -2 yards to Josh Jacobs in Week 2.  Robinson is coming off an 89 rush yard game at Denver last week and has claimed a clear hold of the #1RB position in Washington.  He has averaged 18.5 rush attempts per game this season and cleared his line of 56.5 rush yards in 9 straight games and ALL 10 games he’s played in the NFL with 14+ rush attempts.  Heavy rain is projected for FedEx Field as well on Sunday making rushing props even more appealing.  Let’s see Robinson make it 10 straight games!

NFL Player Prop Trend: Jerry Jeudy Receptions

NFL Player Props Today Jerry Jeudy
Jeudy receptions with 45+ snaps

Jerry Jeudy has cleared this line of 3.5 receptions in 8 of his last 10 games overall.  He missed in Week 1 recovering from a hamstring injury but returned Week 2 to record 3 receptions on only 5 targets.  He also only was on the field for 44 of 63 Denver offensive snaps.  We expect his usage to increase this week.  Setting the Offense Snaps filter to “>=45” we see that Jeudy has cleared in his last 8 of 9 games averaging 5.9 receptions per game.  This is a good matchup too in a projected high scoring game vs a Miami Dolphins team that gave up 4+ receptions to 4 different Patriots receivers last week!

NFL Player Prop Trend: Javonte Williams Longest Rush

NFL Player Props Today Javonte Williams
Miami Dolphins Defense

This line was at 12.5 at time of writing, has since moved to 13.5
Javonte Williams has had at least 1 rush of 13+ yards in 5 of 6 career games.  The lone miss was in Week 1 of this season, his first game back from ACL surgery. This week he plays the Dolphins in Miami, and for as exciting as the Dolphins have been, their defense has already allowed 6 rushes of 10+ yards through the first 2 games of this season.  When we dive into some relevant advanced metrics, Miami’s defense is 30th in yards before contact and 29th in broken tackles to opposing running backs. Javonte should be able to break at least one long run for a first down or TD against Miami.

NFL Player Prop Trend: Jaylen Warren Receptions

NFL Player Props Today Jaylen Warren
Warren receptions with 3+ targets
Jaylen Warren Targets

Jaylen Warren’s targets have increased steadily over his last 6 games to the point where he has averaged 4.2 targets over his last 5 and has had 6 targets in both games to start this season.  When Warren gets 3+ targets, he has cleared this line in 7 of his last 8 games.  Through 2 games, Las Vegas has allowed the 4th most receptions, 6th most targets, and 2nd most yards after contact to opposing running backs.  The Steelers have played arguably the two best defenses in the NFL in the 49ers and Browns so far this season, so look for Pittsburgh’s offense to come alive against a very mediocre Raiders defense.
