We’ve seen some pretty big blowouts in the NBA, but tonight we have a nine game slate with EVERY game having a spread of seven points or less! We used props.cash to find some great spots in these games! Take a look.
NBA Player Prop Trend: Cade Cunningham 7.5 Assists
Cade takes on the Raptors tonight for the third time this season. In the first matchup he only had 4 assists in 27 minutes. We’re throwing this one out as this was early in the season and against a much better defensive Raptors team. In the matchup in December, Cade recorded 12 assists. The Raptors are giving up the most assists to opposing Wings and the second most assists to opposing point guards. So regardless of how you classify Cade he’s in a great spot to dominate. He’s also done great at home, clearing 7.5 assists in 12 of his last 15 home games when playing 32+ minutes. With this being a winnable game for Detroit we see big minutes and big assists for him tonight.
NBA Player Prop Trend: Chris Paul 11.5 Points
CP3 may not have much left in the tank, but he’s certainly excelling of late in the absence of Steph Curry. In his four games this year without Steph, Paul is averaging 14.8 points on 12.5 FGA in 31.5 minutes. Compare this to games with Steph where he averages 8.7 points on 7.4 FGA in 26.5 minutes. In his two recent games vs the Spurs, CP3 attempted 9 shots in a 13 point loss followed by 19 shots in a 10 point win. We know in the back of his mind he’s ready to fire away tonight. He plays a Dallas team tonight that is middle of the pack in defending the point guard position, but 2nd worst in the league in defending CP3’s position, the combo guard. Look for the veteran to give us another solid performance before his playing time is cut again later this week with Steph’s return.
NBA Player Prop Trend: Terry Rozier 15.5 Points
Scary Terry gets a great matchup tonight vs a Denver team that is giving up the second most points to opposing point guards. Terry is coming back to form of late, clearing this line in 3 of his last 5 games. The Heat lineup is always in flux, but it looks like they will be with Bam and Butler and without Herro again tonight. With this lineup, Terry is 6 for 8 this season, including a 19 point performance vs Denver two weeks ago. The Heat failed to get revenge against the champs in that game, so look for them to be firing away tonight to make a statement.
NBA Player Prop Trend: LeBron James 7.5 Assists
Lebron seems to own the Kings when it comes to play making. He’s recorded 8, 12, and 13 assists against the Kings this year and cleared in 2 of 3 games against a very similar lineup as well last year. He has also cleared this line in 10 straight games. Seems like a good ladder opportunity as well for 10+ and 12+ assists. The Kings are on a back-to-back so look for LeBron to take advantage of some tired legs tonight!
