The NBA last night was electric as the NBA In-Season Tournament group play games concluded with the eight teams moving onto the knockout round. We’re excited to watch that next week, but let’s not look past a great seven game slate in the NBA tonight!  We took a deep dive into props.cash to find some great player props we are loving for tonight’s slate:

NBA Player Prop Trend: Jalen Duren over 11.5 Rebounds

Opposing Center rebounds vs the Lakers was popping out on the new “D vs Pos” column on props.cash and their opponent today has a pretty great one in Jalen Duren.  Duren returned from injury on Friday and recorded 13 rebounds v IND in 29 minutes.  On Monday he was moved to the starting lineup v WAS and recorded 14 rebounds in 33 minutes.  He’s cleared his line of 10.5 rebounds in 7 of 10 games this season and 7 of 7 games with 26+ minutes.  We expect to see him in the starting line up again tonight with 28+ minutes to take on Anthony Davis and the Lakers.  The Lakers have allowed 6 of the last 6 opposing starting centers to clear their rebound lines, 4 of which had 11+ rebounds.  The last time Duren faced the Lakers he recorded 13 rebounds and should be in a good spot to repeat tonight.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Tyus Jones 10.5 Points

Opposing point guards scoring vs ORL is showing as a strong matchup on props.cash.  This is especially true of late with big performances by Terry Rozier (22 points), Reggie Jackson (14 points), Dennis Schroder (24 points), and Spencer Dinwiddie (29 points) all within the past 2 weeks.

Tonight ORL faces WAS who is having a rough season, but finding a bright spot in their new point guard Tyus Jones.  Jones has cleared his line of 10.5 points in 11 of 17 games this season and 10 of 11 games when he plays 25+ minutes.  He is averaging 27.2 minutes this season and has played 25+ minutes in 4 of his last 5 games.  He has also cleared in 5 straight games with one day rest.  A blowout is the biggest risk to Tyus clearing tomorrow, but we see him getting the 25+ mins and clearing again.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Jordan Clarkson 28.5 Pts + Reb + Ast

Jordan Clarkson’s Pts+Reb+Ast prop has followed an interesting pattern this year of green (clears), followed 2-3 consecutive reds (misses), by consecutive greens.  He appears to be on the start of a new run of greens.  While we do enjoy following the color pattern, there’s some more data from props.cash that explains the difference between the red and green games!  Clarkson is averaging 16 FGA this season. In games where he has less than 15 FGA, he is averaging 17.1 Pts+Reb+Ast and only cleared in 1 of 8 games.  In games where he is firing way 15+ FGA, he is averaging 35.6 Pts+Reb+Ast and cleared in 8 of 8 games!  With Lauri Markkanen out again tonight we see Clarkson getting similar shot volume as Monday when he took 16 FGA and recorded 30 Pts+Reb+Ast.  Over the last season he has cleared this line in 5 of 7 games without Markkanen.

Clarkson is historically better at home, but has cleared in 3 straight games vs MEM, his opponent tonight, including 35 and 34 Pts+Reb+Ast his last two times in Memphis.  Wins are hard to come by for the Jazz these days, so look for Clarkson to go all out tonight for a win against the struggling Grizzlies.

NBA Player Prop Trend: Paul George 33.5 Pts + Reb + Ast

Paul George was riding a seven game streak of 34+ Pts+Reb+Ast before it ended on Monday vs DEN with a 2 for 13 shooting performance.  We think he’s in a great bounce back spot tonight.  He’s cleared this line in 11 of 16 games this season and 7 of 11 games since Harden was added to the team. He faces a Kings team that was pushed to the max in last night’s thrilling victory vs GSW and will likely show some fatigue tonight. The Kings have given up big Pts+Reb+Ast games to opposing Small Forwards, including Brandon Ingram (38), Keldon Johnson (37), Lebron (50), and even Andrew Wiggins last night (42). George has had great success against SAC last season, recording 52, 49, and 43 Pts+Reb+Ast v the Kings.  Look for another big performance from PG13 tonight.
