Schwarber has recorded 2+ HRR in eight of his last ten games. He’ll now face Bowden Francis, who has been very weak to lefties the last month and is certainly exploitable in this matchup today (5.11 xFIP / 18.8% K% / 9.4% BB% / 2.6 HR per 9 / 28.3% GB% / 0.388 wOBA allowed / 0.544 SLG allowed). Schwarber is also 2/3 in this matchup with a home run.
MLB Player Prop Trend: Trevor Williams Earned Runs
Williams has allowed 3+ ER in five of his last six outings. He’ll now have to face a Cubs offense that has the best wRC+ against right-handed pitching over the last two weeks (159 wRC+). With temperatures in the low 80s and winds blowing out, Williams’ outlook on paper is bleak.
MLB Player Prop Trend: Carlos Santana Hits
Santana enters Tuesday evening with an 11-game hitting streak. He currently has a 198 wRC+ against left-handed pitching over the last 30 days and has had success on Rodon historically (15/42 w/ 2 HR).
MLB Player Prop Today: Zac Gallen Walks
Gallen has walked multiple batters in eleven of twelve starts this season. His 14.5% walk rate to lefties and 9.4% rate to righties the last month is already not great on its own, and now he’ll have to face an Atlanta offense that has the 7th-highest collective walk rate in baseball against righties the past two weeks (9.8%). Marcell Ozuna (18.2%), Nick Allen (16.7%), Austin Riley (15.6%), and Ozzie Albies (15.6%) all have walk rates over 15% vs. righties in that stretch.
MLB Player Prop Trend: Shohei Ohtani Fantasy Score
Ohtani has cleared double-digit fantasy points in six of his last eight games. He has homered six times in his past eight games and will now face Tylor Megill, who has not seen lefties well in the past month (6.31 xFIP / 21.2% K% / 21.2% BB% / 0.9 HR per 9 / 37.9% GB% / 0.404 wOBA allowed / 0.436 SLG allowed). Ohtani already has a home run in the matchup (1/6) and has had a 170 wRC+ against righties the last two weeks (33 PA).
